The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved a disaster declaration for Kane County for damage resulting from the July 2-4 storms. Residents and business owners in Kane County, as well as the contiguous counties of Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kendall, and McHenry, are also eligible to apply for the SBA’s long-term, low-interest disaster loans.
