Participants are asked to bring their sensitive documents for shredding and non-perishable food items. \nMost needed items include: \n\nFruits and Vegetables: Canned fruit in juice\, low sodium canned vegetables\nProteins: Dry whole beans\, lentils\, canned chicken in water\, canned tuna in water\, all natural peanut butter\nGrains: Whole grain cereal\, oatmeal\, whole grain pastas\, brown rice\nStaples: Instant breakfast drink mix (no sugar added)\, low sodium pasta sauces\, low sodium soups\, spices & seasonings\n\n**NO GLASS CONTAINERS PLEASE** \nPlease follow traffic signs and remain in your vehicle during this event. Park and watch spots will be available and you can drop off items for the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
