Summer Reading Program Now Open for District 65 Students

ST. CHARLES – State Representative Dan Ugaste (R-Geneva) has launched a Summer Reading Program for students in his 65th District.

Representative Ugaste challenges K-through 5th graders to read 10 books during their summer break, and send their completed reading lists to his office to receive an invitation to a special party in the fall.  The program brochure with all the information can be found here.

“I want to encourage continued learning during the summer months when kids are out of school,” said Ugaste.  “Reading can be fun, and that’s what this program is geared toward.  To give these students a little motivation to keep reading throughout the summer, we will all get together in the fall to celebrate their hard work!”

The program is now open and will run until August 16th, when reading lists are due in Rep. Ugaste’s District Office.  With questions about the program, contact Rep. Ugaste’s District Office at 630-797-5530.
