We got to work beginning our final month of spring session this week in Springfield! Adjournment is on May 19th.
On Tuesday, I welcomed South Elgin Parks & Recreation Director Kim Wascher to recognize her at an Emerging Women Leaders brunch in Springfield. While we are fortunate in the 65th District to have phenomenal green spaces, they are kept maintained and brought life because of extraordinary workers like Kim. Her work helps families and friends make lifelong memories and this is a well-deserved recognition.
