This week, we got to work in Springfield as we push towards the end of session. It was terrific to meet the Consul General of Japan in Chicago, Hiroshi Tajima, in the General Assembly! We are adjourning in two weeks on Friday, May 20th.
Yesterday, we honored the brave men and women of law enforcement who made the ultimate sacrifice for our communities. Thank you, police officers, for all you do to keep us safe and preserve peace in our communities.
