On Saturday, May 27th in the early hours of the morning, we concluded our spring legislative session and passed our Fiscal Year 2024 budget. Illinoisans deserve better than middle-of-the-night budget drops and more transparency in this process.
The FY24 budget that was dropped in the House in the dead of night on Thursday, May 25th. The budget was passed by the House on Saturday, May 27th.
