ST. CHARLES – State Representative Dan Ugaste (R-Geneva) is hosting his annual Outside Kid’s Fair this summer. He invites constituents to join him on Saturday, June 24th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Chapelstreet Church (3435 Keslinger Rd.) in Geneva for this free event.
“Summer brings some of the best memories for families enjoying the warmer days together,” said Rep. Ugaste. “I’m glad to bring back my Outside Kid’s Fair to provide resources for parents and children in the 65th District that are helpful and fun. Bring the family along for touch-a-trucks, shows, and information on important topics!”
Participants include Atlas Towing, Birth to Five, CASA Kane County, the City of St. Charles, Commonwealth Edison, DancEncounter School of Dance, Elburn Campton Hills Area CERT, Juice Plus, LifeNet, PACE, Superior Ambulance, Terri Lynn Mate Magic, the Arc of Illinois, Traveling World of Reptiles, University of Illinois Extension, the Village of South Elgin, and World Martial Arts Academy.
From the Village of Elburn are the Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District and the Elburn Police Department and Public Works. From Geneva are the Geneva Park District and Public Works. From Kane County are the Division of Transportation, Emergency Management Agency, Health Department, Sheriff, and State’s Attorney’s Office. And from the State of Illinois are the Conservation Police, Department of Transportation, Secretary of State Police, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Treasurer.
Demonstrations will begin at 9:30 a.m. and there will also be information, refreshments, touch-a-trucks, and a drawing for a bicycle. A LifeNet medical helicopter will also be at the event from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
