VIDEO: Rep. Ugaste Urges Vote on Invest in Kids Permanency: “Let’s Get This Done”

Rep. Ugaste spoke on the House floor in support of voting to make the Invest in Kids program permanent in Illinois. This program provides a 75% tax credit for individuals and businesses who donate to certain Scholarship Granting Organizations that provide scholarships for children to attend qualifying, non-public schools. Over 9,000 Illinois students have benefited from this program.
