Rep. Ugaste Explains Vote Against Chicago School Board Bill (Video)

The Illinois House approved a bill on Thursday in regards to the Chicago School Board, with the legislation calling for half of the 20-member board to be elected by voters and the other half appointed by the Chicago Mayor. The measure passed the Senate earlier in the week and now heads to the Governor’s desk for formal approval.
