We Must Do More to Protect Victims of Domestic Violence

The Illinois Prisoner Review Board failed Laterria Smith and her family, resulting in the death of an innocent 11-year-old boy. We must do more to protect the victims of domestic violence and violent crime in our state and give them a stronger voice in our criminal justice system through victim-focused reforms.
