Our continued prayers go out to Alton Police Department Officer Allen Averbeck, his family, friends, and colleagues on the force as he continues his recovery after being shot by a suspect in an exchange of gunfire on Thursday morning.
Unfortunately, during the altercation, beloved canine officer Odin was wounded and later died of his injuries. May God bless and keep our law enforcement officers who work tirelessly and fearlessly to keep our communities safe.
