I was honored to accept a 2025 Prairie State Policy Champion Award yesterday from Americans for Prosperity Illinois, and thank you to Gabby Shanahan for making the presentation. I will continue to sponsor common-sense legislation aimed at promoting fiscal responsibility, reducing government spending, and lowering property taxes, as well as other taxes, on Illinois families.
I will also continue to advocate for a parent’s right to have a say in their child’s education. One of our top priorities must be to allow every child to have an opportunity for a high-quality education.
