We were in session this week. I participate in a press conference with the House Republican Truth in Public Safety (TIPS) working group to discuss a pretrial fairness bill that will work for all residents of Illinois. We will be in session until Friday, May 19th. Although it’s still chilly, Spring has come to the Capitol! This means not only do we get to enjoy a beautiful season in Springfield, but there will be much for you to watch as bills work their way through both Chambers in the final weeks of Session.
