State Representative Dan Ugaste (R-Geneva) sponsored HJR76 today in the House of Representatives to honor Illinois State Trooper April Styburksi.
Trooper Styburksi was killed in the line of duty, and Representative Ugaste paid tribute to her life in his floor remarks today. HJR76 designates the section of Illinois Route 20 between Plank Road and Switzer Road as the “Trooper April C. Styburski Memorial Highway”.
The Resolution was unanimously adopted today by the House of Representatives.
