Assistant Minority Leader Dan Ugaste returned to Springfield this week, capping off a very busy period of committee meetings and sessions on the House Floor with a press conference on Thursday. Rep. Ugaste and colleagues Tom Weber and Joe Sosnowski unveiled their legislative packages that would bring much-needed property tax relief to Illinois families. High property taxes are stifling commercial growth and forcing residents to flee the state or pay astronomical increases every year.
